The Evolution of Disney+ Streaming
Disney+ account sharing has evolved with the introduction of the “additional member” option: Spliiit is still Spliiit get access at the lowest price!
Disney+ is improving its subscription sharing features. In addition to the price increase, these changes offer better management and enhanced security, making it more convenient than ever to share your account.
Whether you're Owner a co-subscriber, we'll explain all the changes coming to Spliiit. Specifically, we'll cover current shares.
👑 I'm Owner Disney+ Owner
# The new sharing method for the Owner
➜ A button will appear in your Spliiit account to update your Disney+ sharing arrangement.
➜ Everything happens automatically. If you have a total of 3 co-subscribers, the two most recent ones will be removed from your account. Disney+ now allows a maximum of two members per subscription.
➜ The remaining subscriber will switch to the new rate on their next renewal date.
➜ All you have to do now is invite your remaining co-subscriber from your Disney+ account via email, using the option provided for that purpose.
# What's New with Disney+ Sharing
➜ I am downloading all of my profiles and split screens for my own use.
➜ I can invite up to one additional member.
➜ I no longer share my password. I now invite the co-subscriber using an invitation link.
➜ With a shared Disney+ Premium annual subscription, I get the best possible price 🍿.
🤝 I'm a co-subscriber; I joined a Disney+ subscription
# The new sharing method for co-subscribers
💡 Disney+ limits account sharing to a maximum of two people.
There are two possible scenarios after updating a share:
1️⃣ I'm keeping the same Owner
➜ On Spliiit, all you need to do is enter the email address you want the Owner to invite you with Owner Note: the address must never have been used on Disney+).
➜ The invitation will then take you to Disney+ so you can create your “additional member” account.
2️⃣ I have been removed from the current share
➜ Either I am redirected to another Owner Disney+ subscription Owner retain my status as a co-subscriber. Note: I can transfer my existing profile (see tutorial below) to this new subscription.
➜ Or, if I want to become Owner : access to Disney+ costs me even less. Here, too, you can transfer an existing profile while creating your new Owner account Owner time.
ℹ️ Co-subscribers will be switched to the new price on their next billing date.
# What's New with Disney+ Sharing
➜ I can now have my own Disney+ account with my own login credentials, linked to Owner subscription.
➜ I always have access to the entire catalog and can use as many devices as I want.
➜ I can easily transfer my current profile—including my recommendations and viewing history —to a new Disney+ account.
