How do I share my Strava subscription on Spliiit

Strava is the go-to app for tracking your workouts (running, cycling, walking, hiking, and more), analyzing your performance, and staying motivated with segments, leaderboards, and training tools. With a subscription, you unlock advanced analytics, progress tools, segment leaderboards, route suggestions, and access to Recover Athletics.

Strava offers a sharing option designed for multiple users: the Family Plan. There’s no need to share a password; the Owner a personalized invitation link and sends it to the other members, who each keep their own Strava account.

Best Practices for Sharing Strava in 30 Seconds

✅ Your co-subscribers must not already be Strava subscribers (otherwise they won’t be able to join the plan)
✅ Members must reside in the same country as the Owner
✅ If you’re already a subscriber: you must cancel your subscription and wait until the end of the billing cycle before joining a Family plan

Owner Suggest sharing a Strava ride on Spliiit

1) Set up your Strava account

1. Make sure the Family Plan is available in your country (Strava is rolling it out gradually).

2) Post the offer on Spliiit

1. On Spliiit, go to "Propose."
2. Choose Strava‍
3. Select Family (Annual)‍
4. Please indicate the number of available seats (up to 3 seats to share)
5. Publish the offer publicly to receive requests

ℹ️ You can also share privately 🔐: invite only your friends and family.

3) Invite your fellow subscribers on Strava (invitation link)

1. Go to the Strava Family page (or your subscription dashboard)
   
2. Create/activate your Family Plan
   
3. Copy your invitation link
   
4. Send this link to your fellow subscribers
   

Co-subscriber: Join a Strava plan

1. On Spliiit, search for Strava (🔎) on the marketplace
2. Join an offer and make the payment
3. Send the Owner Strava email address (the one associated with your account)
4. Open the invitation link you received and log in to Strava to accept ✅

ℹ️ If no offers are available:

• Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
  
• or create your offer as Owner
  

✅ It works if...

• You aren't already a Strava subscriber‍
• You are in the same country as the Owner
• You accept the invitation via the invitation link

❌ It doesn't work if...

• You already have an active subscription (you must first cancel it and wait for it to expire)
• All seats (4 in total) are taken
• You are not in the same country as the Owner
