How to share your Bitwarden subscription on Spliiit?
Bitwarden is an open-source password manager that allows you to store your credentials in an encrypted vault, easily log in on all your devices, and securely share access (instead of sending passwords via message).
Bitwarden has a sharing mode designed for multiple people: Bitwarden Families. Passwords are not shared; the owner invites members and everyone keeps their own Bitwarden account (personal vault).

Bitwarden: Which plans can be shared on Spliiit?
On Spliiit, you can offer Bitwarden as an owner under an offer:
- Families — up to 6 users max — unlimited collections — 1 GB of encrypted attachments

Owner: suggest sharing Bitwarden on Spliiit
1) Set up your Bitwarden account
- Ensure you have an active Bitwarden Families subscription.
2) Post the offer on Spliiit
- On Spliiit, go to "Propose."
- Choose Bitwarden
- Select Families
- Indicate the number of available seats (up to 5 seats to share if you keep yours)
- Publish the offer publicly to receive requests
ℹ️ You can also share privately 🔐: invite only your friends and family.
3) Invite your co-subscribers to Bitwarden
- Openthe Familiesorganization in Bitwarden
- Go to Members
- Click on Invite member
- Enter the member's email address
- Choose his role
- Send the invitation
Next:
- the co-subscriber accepts the invitation (log in or create an account)
- the owner confirms the member's arrival in the organization
Co-subscriber: join a Bitwarden offer
- On Spliiit, search for Bitwarden (🔎) on the marketplace.
- Join an offer and make the payment
- Send the owner the email address for your Bitwarden account.
- Open the Bitwarden invitation and accept it.
- Once confirmed by the owner: you will have access to the subscription.
ℹ️ If no offers are available:
- Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
- or create your offer as a homeowner
✅ It works if...
- There is a maximum of 6 people in the Families organization.
- The owner invites you via email
- You accept the invitation and the owner confirms.
❌ It doesn't work if...
- All 6 places are already taken.
- The invitation was not accepted (or was accepted with another email).
- The owner has not confirmed integration after acceptance.
🛠️ If it's stuck, try...
- Check Spam/Promotions (invitation email)
- Ask the owner to resend the invitation.
- Log out/log back in, or try using a different browser.
