How to share your Bitwarden subscription?

How do I share my Bitwarden subscription on Spliiit

Bitwarden is an open-source password manager that lets you store your login credentials in an encrypted vault, easily log in across all your devices, and securely share access (instead of sending passwords via text message).

Bitwarden offers a sharing feature designed for multiple users: Bitwarden Families. You don’t share a password; instead, the Owner invites members, and each person keeps their own Bitwarden account (personal vault).

Bitwarden: Which plans can be shared on Spliiit

On Spliiit, you can list Bitwarden as Owner an offer:

• Families — up to 6 users — unlimited collections — 1 GB of encrypted attachments
  

Features included with Bitwarden (Families)

🗂️ Unlimited collections (for organizing sharing within the organization)
🔐 Encrypted sharing (including Bitwarden Send for text/files, depending on features)
📎 1 GB of organization-level encrypted attachments (Families)

Owner Create a Bitwarden share on Spliiit

1) Set up your Bitwarden account

1. Make sure you have an active Bitwarden Families subscription.

2) Post the offer on Spliiit

1. On Spliiit, go to "Propose."
2. Choose Bitwarden‍
3. Select Families‍
4. Please indicate the number of available seats (up to 5 seats to share if you are keeping your own)
5. Publish the offer publicly to receive requests

ℹ️ You can also share privately 🔐: invite only your friends and family.

3) Invite your fellow subscribers to Bitwarden

1. Openthe "Families"organization in Bitwarden
   
2. Go to Members
   
3. Click " Invite Member"
   
4. Enter the member's email address
5. Choose their role
   
6. Send the invitation
   

Next:

• The co-subscriber accepts the invitation (by logging in or creating an account)
  
• The Owner confirms the member's arrival in the organization
  

Co-subscriber: Join a Bitwarden plan

1. On Spliiit, search for Bitwarden (🔎) on the marketplace
2. Join an offer and make the payment
3. Sendthe email associated with your Bitwarden account to Owner
4. Open the Bitwarden invitation and accept it‍
5. Once confirmed by the Owner you'll have access to the subscription 😁

ℹ️ If no offers are available:

• Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
  
• or create your offer as Owner
  

✅ It works if...

• There are a maximum of 6 of you in the Families group
• The Owner invites Owner via email‍
• You accept the invitation, and the Owner confirms

❌ It doesn't work if...

• All 6 spots are already taken
• The invitation was not accepted (or was accepted using a different email address)
• The Owner not confirmed the integration after approval

🛠️ If it's stuck, try...

1. Check your Spam or Promotions folder (invitation email)
2. Ask the Owner resend the invitation‍
3. Sign out and sign back in, or try using a different browser
