How to share Netflix in 2026 (without a password)?
Today, Netflix sharing has changed.
People don't share their login credentials like they used to. Everything now goes through an invitation system, using what Netflix calls " additional members."
ℹ️ In practice: everyone has their own account and their own access rights, and sharing is much more strictly regulated.
⚠️ Before you begin, make sure you have a Standard or Premium subscription; otherwise, you won’t be able to add co-subscribers. If you don’t, please upgrade your plan before sharing it on Spliiit.
Sharing Netflix in 2026: How Does It Really Work?

What to know before sending an invitation

- 3️⃣ You are limited to 2 invitations per billing period
👤 Join a Netflix subscription as a co-subscriber
If you receive an invitation, you must:

⚠️ The additional subscriber can watch Netflix on any device they choose, but only on one screen at a time.
⛔ Note: If you have previously been a Netflix subscriber, you cannot use the email address from that old account to create an "additional subscriber" account. You will need to create or use a different email address.

Pay less for Netflix without making things complicated
The main obstacle today isn't really access anymore… it's the price.
With the additional subscriber plan, everyone has their own account, which is easier to use, but the bill can quickly add up if there are several of you.
🤝 A solution like Spliiit makes things easier.
The idea is simple: either you offer a spot on your subscription, or you join someone else’s.
Everyone chips in, and you can keep enjoying Netflix… but on a much tighter budget 🍿
