How can I share my Yousician subscription?

Yousician has a sharing mode designed for multiple people: the Family plan (Premium+ Family).

Here, we don't share passwords: sharing is done via email invitation, and each co-subscriber keeps their own Yousician account (i.e., their progress, favorites, and songs).

Yousician is a music learning app (guitar, piano, ukulele, bass, singing) with interactive exercises and songs, available on mobile/tablet and computer.

Yousician: Which plans can be shared on Spliiit?

On Spliiit, you can offer Yousician in two different ways:

Owner: How to invite a Yousician co-subscriber (Family plan)

To share your Yousician subscription via Family, you must first offer your subscription on Spliiit, then add the co-subscriber from your Yousician account.

  1. In your Spliiit account, go to "Propose."
  2. Create a Yousician share and enter the Family plan you have.
  3. Make your offer visible in order to receive requests from co-subscribers.
  4. Once you have found a co-subscriber on Spliiit, get their email address.
  5. Ask them to check one important thing: they must have a free Yousician account created with that same email address (otherwise the invitation will not activate on the correct account).
  6. Log in to the Yousician website, then go to "My Account."
  7. Add the member using the "+" option (or "Add a member"), enter the co-subscriber's email address, and confirm.
  8. The co-subscriber receives a notification/email: their Premium+ access will be activated on their account.

ℹ️ Please note: a member cannot be added if they already have an active Premium subscription on their account. In this case, they must first cancel their subscription before joining a Family plan.

Co-subscriber: how to join a Yousician share

As a co-subscriber, access to Yousician is granted after joining an offer on Spliiit and then being added to the Family plan by the owner.

  1. Log in to your Spliiit account and click on the 🔎 icon to search for a split. Yousician.
  2. Accept a landlord's offer and make the payment.
  3. Create (or log in to) your free Yousician account.
  4. Send the owner the exact email address linked to your Yousician account via the dedicated messaging service on Spliiit.
  5. Once added, you will receive a notification/email. Open Yousician: Premium+ will be activated on your account.
  6. You then use Yousician with your own login details and keep track of your progress.

ℹ️ If no offers are available:

  • Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
  • or create your offer as a homeowner

🔒 Security & best practices

  • Everyone has their own account: no need to share a password, each member keeps their own access and progress.
  • Exact email: 90% of blocks occur when an invitation is sent to an email address that differs from the one associated with the Yousician account.
  • No double subscriptions: if you already have Premium on your account, remember to pay for it before adding a new subscription.
  • If you encounter any issues: check your spam folder, ask the owner to remove/re-add the member, then log out/log back in to the app.
