How to share your Malwarebytes subscription on Spliiit?

Malwarebytes is a cybersecurity solution that protects your devices from malware, ransomware, fraudulent websites, and online threats. With the Premium (and Premium + Privacy) plans, you get enhanced protection.

Malwarebytes offers a sharing mode that allows you to use your subscription on other devices. Passwords are not shared; the owner can share the subscription from their Malwarebytes account, either by sending an invitation or by generating an MB Code to be used on the co-subscriber's device.

Owner: suggest sharing Malwarebytes on Spliiit

1) Set up your Malwarebytes account

1. Verify that your Malwarebytes subscription is active and that you have devices available.

2) Post the offer on Spliiit

1. Go to "Submit"
2. Choose Malwarebytes
3. Select the offer that corresponds to your number of devices (2 → 10, or Premium + Privacy 5)
4. Indicate the number of available seats
5. Publish the offer publicly to receive requests

ℹ️ You can also share privately 🔐: invite only your friends and family.

3) Invite your fellow subscribers

Option A — Sharing by invitation

The co-subscriber will receive an invitation email (with instructions for downloading, installing, and activating).

➡️ For their part, they must open the email and follow the activation steps.

Option B — Sharing with an MB Code

Malwarebytes also allows you to generate an MB Code to activate your subscription on another device. 

➡️ The co-subscriber then enters this code into the Malwarebytes app on the new device to activate protection.

Co-subscriber: join a Malwarebytes offer

1. On Spliiit, search for Malwarebytes (🔎) on the marketplace.
2. Join an offer and make the payment
3. Then, depending on the method chosen by the owner:

• Email invitation: Open the Malwarebytes invitation email and follow theactivation steps.
• MB Code: Install the Malwarebytes app, then enter the activation code provided.
  

🙌 Once activated: your device is protected.

ℹ️ If no offers are available:

• Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
  
• or create your offer as a homeowner
  

✅ It works if...

• There are still devices available on the subscription plan.
• You are following the activation process via email or MB Code‍
• Malwarebytes is properly installed on the device to be protected.

❌ It doesn't work if...

• All seats/devices are already in use.
• The invitation email has not been opened / activation has not been completed

🛠️ If it's stuck, try...

1. Check Spam/Promotions (for the invitation)
2. Ask the owner to resend the invitation or give you a new MB Code.
3. Reinstall the Malwarebytes app on the device and try activating it again.
