How to share your Mailo subscription on Spliiit?

Mailo is an email and suite of services (email, calendar, contacts, cloud, etc.) focused on privacy.

Mailo has a sharing mode designed for multiple users: Mailo Family Space. Passwords are not shared; the owner invites members and assigns the Family offer to each account.

Mailo: Which plans can be shared on Spliiit?

On Spliiit, you can offer Mailo as a host under an offer:

  • Family — up to 5 accounts

Owner: suggest sharing Mailo on Spliiit

1) Set up your Mailo account

  1. You must activate (or have) a Mailo Family Space from the web version using the Mailo Spaces icon.

2) Post the offer on Spliiit

  1. On Spliiit, go to "Propose."
  2. Choose Mailo
  3. Select Family
  4. Indicate the number of available seats (up to 4 seats to share if you keep yours)
  5. Publish the offer publicly to receive requests

ℹ️ You can also share privately 🔐: invite only your friends and family.

3) Invite your co-subscribers to the Mailo Space (Family)

  1. Log in to Mailo
  2. Click on the Mailo Spaces icon (top right)
  3. Go to Space AdministrationAccount List
  4. For each account, activate the benefit by toggling the slider in the Family Offer column.

👉 If the co-subscriber informs you that they already have a Mailo account: in Administration, you can also link an existing account to your space.

Co-subscriber: join a Mailo offer

  1. On Spliiit, search for Mailo (🔎) on the marketplace.
  2. Join an offer and make the payment
  3. Send the owner your email address
  4. Once added to the space and the Family Offer activated: you can enjoy your Premium account 🙂

ℹ️ If no offers are available:

  • Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
  • or create your offer as a homeowner

✅ It works if...

  • The Mailo Family space is very active.
  • There are a maximum of 5 people in the Family offer.
  • The owner has successfully activated the Family Offer on your account in the list of accounts.

❌ It doesn't work if...

  • The account has not been added/linked to the space.
  • The owner has not activated the Family Offer on the correct account.
  • The limit of 5 accounts has been reached

🛠️ If it's stuck, try...

  1. If you already had a Mailo account: request a link rather than creating a new account.
  2. Test from a web browser (rather than a mobile device)
