How to share your Magnificat subscription on Spliiit?

Magnificat is a service focused on prayer and liturgy: you will find content to accompany your daily life (readings, prayers, celebrations, etc.), accessible online and viathe iOS/Android app.

On Spliiit, Magnificat is shared using the owner account credentials: the owner enters their email address and password in the Spliiit vault, and co-subscribers log in using these credentials.
To avoid any issues, it is important to use a password specifically for sharing.

Best practices for sharing Magnificat in 30 seconds

✅ Use a dedicated password (different from your other accounts).
✅ Only share access via the Spliiit vault (not via message).
✅ Keep in mind the limit: 5 users max.
✅ If the owner changes the password, they must update it immediately on Spliiit.
✅ If you are on mobile: make sure you have the latest version of the app.

Step 1 — Set up your Magnificat account

1. Make sure you have an active Magnificat subscription (Web).
2. Create a password dedicated to sharing (recommended).

Step 2 — Post the offer on Spliiit

1. On Spliiit, go to "Propose."
2. Choose Magnificat
3. Select the Web offer – 1 year
4. Indicate the number of seats (up to 5)
5. Add your credentials to the Spliiit vault
6. Publish as public sharing to receive requests

Co-subscriber: join a Magnificat offer

1. On Spliiit, open the marketplace (🔎) and search for Magnificat
2. Join an offer and make the payment
3. In your Spliiit dashboard, open the service page and retrieve the credentials (vault).
4. Log in to Magnificat (website or app) with these credentials
5. Enjoy access!

ℹ️ If no offers are available:

• Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
• or create your offer as a homeowner

✅ It works if...

• There can be a maximum of 5 people sharing.
• The credentials in the Spliiit vault are up to date.
• The owner keeps the subscription active.

❌ It doesn't work if...

• You have exceeded the user limit / too many connections
• The owner changed the password without updating it on Spliiit.
• The app is not up to date and is blocking the connection.

🛠️ If it's stuck, try...

1. Re-copy the password from the vault (be careful with spaces)
2. Logging out/logging back in on the app or website
3. Update the iOS/Android app, then retest.
4. Test on browser (or vice versa: test on app)
5. Ask the owner if they have changed the password recently.
