How to share your Magnificat subscription on Spliiit?
Magnificat is a service focused on prayer and liturgy: you will find content to accompany your daily life (readings, prayers, celebrations, etc.), accessible online and viathe iOS/Android app.
On Spliiit, Magnificat is shared using the owner account credentials: the owner enters their email address and password in the Spliiit vault, and co-subscribers log in using these credentials.
To avoid any issues, it is important to use a password specifically for sharing.

Best practices for sharing Magnificat in 30 seconds
✅ Use a dedicated password (different from your other accounts).
✅ Only share access via the Spliiit vault (not via message).
✅ Keep in mind the limit: 5 users max.
✅ If the owner changes the password, they must update it immediately on Spliiit.
✅ If you are on mobile: make sure you have the latest version of the app.
Magnificat: What plans can be shared on Spliiit?
On Spliiit, you can offer Magnificat as part of a deal:

Owner: suggest sharing Magnificat on Spliiit
Step 1 — Set up your Magnificat account
- Make sure you have an active Magnificat subscription (Web).
- Create a password dedicated to sharing (recommended).
Step 2 — Post the offer on Spliiit
- On Spliiit, go to "Propose."
- Choose Magnificat
- Select the Web offer – 1 year
- Indicate the number of seats (up to 5)
- Add your credentials to the Spliiit vault
- Publish as public sharing to receive requests

Co-subscriber: join a Magnificat offer
- On Spliiit, open the marketplace (🔎) and search for Magnificat
- Join an offer and make the payment
- In your Spliiit dashboard, open the service page and retrieve the credentials (vault).
- Log in to Magnificat (website or app) with these credentials
- Enjoy access!
ℹ️ If no offers are available:
- Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
- or create your offer as a homeowner
✅ It works if...
- There can be a maximum of 5 people sharing.
- The credentials in the Spliiit vault are up to date.
- The owner keeps the subscription active.
❌ It doesn't work if...
- You have exceeded the user limit / too many connections
- The owner changed the password without updating it on Spliiit.
- The app is not up to date and is blocking the connection.
🛠️ If it's stuck, try...
- Re-copy the password from the vault (be careful with spaces)
- Logging out/logging back in on the app or website
- Update the iOS/Android app, then retest.
- Test on browser (or vice versa: test on app)
- Ask the owner if they have changed the password recently.
