How to share a Libération subscription on Spliiit?

Libération is a news newspaper: a digital subscription gives you access to articles on the website and app, with comfortable reading on both computers and mobile devices.

On Spliiit, Libération is shared via the owner account credentials: the owner enters their email address and password into the Spliiit vault, and co-subscribers log in using these credentials.

To keep things simple (and avoid headaches), the number one rule is to use a password dedicated to sharing.

Best practices for sharing Liberation in 30 seconds

✅ Use a dedicated password (different from your other accounts).
✅ Only share via the Spliiit vault (not via message).
✅ If it cuts out, it is often because the limit on simultaneous connections has been exceeded.

Liberation: What plans can be shared on Spliiit?

On Spliiit, you can offer Libération under 4 offers:

• Digital Duo Monthly — up to 2 users max
• Digital Duo Annual — up to 2 users max
• Digital Family Monthly — up to 4 users max
• Digital Family Annual — up to 4 users max

Owner: offer a share Release on Spliiit

Step 1 — Set up your Liberation account

1. Make sure you have an active Libération subscription (Duo or Family).
2. Create a password dedicated to sharing (recommended).

Step 2 — Post the offer on Spliiit

1. On Spliiit, go to "Propose."
2. Choose Liberation
3. Select the plan (Duo/Family + Monthly/Annual)
4. Indicate the number of seats (2 or 4 depending on the offer)
5. Add your Libération credentials to the Spliiit vault
6. Publish as public sharing to receive requests

Co-subscriber: join a Libération offer

1. On Spliiit, open the marketplace (🔎) and search for Liberation
2. Join an offer and make the payment
3. In your Spliiit dashboard, open the service page and retrieve the credentials (vault).
4. Log in to Libération (website or app) with these credentials
5. Enjoy access to the journal 📖

ℹ️ If no offers are available:

• Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
• or create your offer as a homeowner

✅ It works if...

• The credentials are up to date in the Spliiit vault.
• Copy and paste the password (without any extra spaces).
• The owner does have an active subscription.

❌ It doesn't work if...

• Too many of you are connected at the same time (limit exceeded).
• The owner changed the password without updating it on Spliiit.

🛠️ If it's stuck, try...

1. Log out/log back in on the app or website Release
2. Re-copy the password from the vault (be careful with spaces)
3. Check that you are not already at the maximum number of connections (Duo/Family).
4. Ask the owner if they have changed the password recently.
5. Update the app, then test again.
