How do I share my Intego subscription on Spliiit

Intego is a Mac security suite (antivirus/anti-malware and protection tools) designed to secure your online and offline activities and enhance protection and performance depending on the package you choose (Internet Security X9 / Premium Bundle X9 / Premium Bundle + VPN).

Intego uses a license system . Sharing does not involve sharing a password: the Owner primarily Owner the download link and the serial number to activate the software on each authorized Mac.

Owner Create an Intego share on Spliiit

1) Set up your Intego account

1. Make sure you have an active Intego X9 subscription for 3 or 5 Macs.

➡️ The serial number is available in your purchase email or in your My Account section, and is used to activate the software.

2) Post the offer on Spliiit

1. On Spliiit, go to "Propose."
2. Choose Intego‍
3. Select the plan (e.g., Internet Security X9 – 3 Macs / 5 Macs, etc.)
4. Please indicate the number of available seats (up to 2 or 4 seats to share if you are keeping your own)
5. Publish the offer publicly to receive requests

ℹ️ You can also share privately 🔐: invite only your friends and family.

3) Send the invitation to the co-subscriber

1. Send the download link to the co-subscriber (from your Intego portal / Devices section, where the installation downloads are listed)
   
2. Please provide the serial number required for activation (the co-subscriber will enter it when the app is launched for the first time)
   

💡 In the Intego portal, the Devices tab lets you view your devices and revoke access for an old Mac if necessary.

Co-subscriber: Sign up for an Intego plan

1. On Spliiit, search for Intego (🔎) on the marketplace
2. Join an offer and make the payment
3. Ask the Owner the Intego X9 download link and the serial number (key)
4. Install Intego on your Mac, and then, when you launch it for the first time, enter the name and serial number to activate it
5. Enjoy your subscription 🙂

ℹ️ If no offers are available:

• Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
• or create your offer as Owner
  

✅ It works if...

• Install it using the correct link and enter the correct serial number

❌ It doesn't work if...

• The Owner gave Owner the wrong serial number
• The co-subscriber is trying to activate the service on more devices than allowed

🛠️ If it's stuck, try...

1. Restart the installation and try activating it again
2. If a device does not appear in the list after activation, Intego recommends contacting support
