How to share your Freedome subscription on Spliiit?
Freedome (F-Secure) is an online protection service (VPN) that secures your connection on PC, Mac, Android, and iOS, with unlimited data. It is particularly useful on public Wi-Fi networks to encrypt your traffic.
Freedome has a sharing mode designed for multiple users: sharing via My F-Secure groups. Passwords are not shared; the owner invites a member, and each co-subscriber gets their own user account to protect their devices with the owner's licenses.

On Spliiit, you can offer Freedome as a host under these offers:

Owner: offer Freedome sharing on Spliiit
1) Set up your Freedome account
- Verify that your Freedome subscription is active (3/5/7 devices).
2) Post the offer on Spliiit
- On Spliiit, go to "Propose."
- Choose Freedome
- Select the offer (3, 5, or 7 devices)
- Indicate the number of available seats
- Publish the offer publicly to receive requests
ℹ️ You can also share privately 🔐: invite only your friends and family.
3) Invite your co-subscribers to the F-Secure app (invitation)
- Open the F-Secure app
- In the main view, select People and devices.
- Select + Add a device or user
- Select Someone else's device → Continue
- Please provide: First name / Last name / Email address
- Click Send Invitation
✅ The person receives the invitation email and now has an account that allows them to protect their devices with your licenses.
Co-subscriber: join a Freedome offer
- On Spliiit, search for Freedome (🔎) on the marketplace.
- Join an offer and make the payment
- Send the owner your first name, last name, and email address.
- Open the invitation email and follow the activation steps.
- Install the F-Secure/Freedome app and activate protection ✅
ℹ️ If no offers are available:
- Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
- or create your offer as a homeowner
✅ It works if...
- The owner has an active subscription and available seats (3/5/7).
- You accept the invitation with an email address that is not already linked to another group.
- The app is installed and activated on the device.
❌ It doesn't work if...
- The invited email is already in your group or in another My F-Secure group.
- The user/device limit for this offer has been reached.
- The invitation was not accepted / the app was not installed
🛠️ If it's stuck, try...
- Check Spam / Promotions / Junk Mail
- Ask the owner to resend the invitation.
- Use a different email address for the invitation
- Or ask the co-subscriber to delete their existing F-Secure account, then re-invite them.
