How to share your CleanMyPC X subscription on Spliiit?

CleanMyPC X (by MacPaw) is a PC toolkit software program: it cleans up junk files, uninstalls apps, optimizes your PC, and protects against certain unwanted software, keeping your PC faster and cleaner.

⚠️ Please note: MacPaw has announced that it has discontinued development and maintenance of CleanMy® PC as of April 22, 2025 (but the help base remains available).

CleanMyPC shares a multi-device licensewith . In practical terms, this means that the same key/license can be used to activate the application on multiple PCs.

Best practices for sharing CleanMyPC in 30 seconds

✅ Share the key/license only on the Spliiit vault (not in a message).

On Spliiit, you can offer CleanMyPC in two different packages:

• 2-device license — up to 2 users/devices

1) Prepare your CleanMyPC license

Verify that you have a 2-device or 5-device license and retrieve your key/license (or access to the license manager, if you use it).

2) Post the offer on Spliiit

1. On Spliiit, go to "Propose."
2. Choose CleanMyPC X
3. Select 2 devices or 5 devices
4. Indicate the number of available seats
5. Add the key/license to the Spliiit vault
6. Publish as public sharing to receive requests

3) Manage seats (if you reach the limit)

1. If you have reached the maximum number of devices and need to free up space, MacPaw recommends deactivating the license from the app.
2. In CleanMyPC: Help → Support Information → Deactivate License

Co-subscriber: join a CleanMyPC offer

1. On Spliiit, search for CleanMyPC X (🔎) on the marketplace.
2. Join an offer and make the payment
3. In your dashboard, open the service page.
4. Retrieve the key/license via the vault
5. Install CleanMyPC on your PC and then activate it with the key/license.

ℹ️ If no offers are available:

• Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
  
• or create your offer as a homeowner
  

✅ It works if...

• The key/license is correct and there is one device slot left.
• Activation is performed on a compatible PC.
• The license is not already in use on too many devices.

❌ It doesn't work if...

• The license is already activated on the maximum number of devices.
• The owner has not freed up space (no deactivation).

🛠️ If it's stuck, try...

1. Deactivate the license on an old PC: Help → Deactivate License, then reactivate it on the new PC.
2. Restart the PC after installation/activation
3. Verify that the key has been copied correctly.
