How to share your CleanMyMac X subscription on Spliiit?
CleanMyMac X is a Swiss Army knife for Mac: it helps clean up junk files, uninstall apps cleanly, detect unwanted items, and optimize performance (handy when your Mac starts to slow down or fill up).
CleanMyMac X has a sharing mode designed for multiple users: seat sharing from your MacPaw account. No passwords are shared. The owner invites a member using the Share Slot feature, and each co-subscriber then activates CleanMyMac X on their Mac.

CleanMyMac X: Which plans can be shared on Spliiit?
On Spliiit, you can offer CleanMyMac X as an owner with two different offers:
- 2 devices — up to 2 users max
- 5 devices — up to 5 users max

Owner: offer CleanMyMac X sharing on Spliiit
1) Post the offer on Spliiit
- Go to "Submit"
- Choose CleanMyMac X
- Select 2 devices or 5 devices
- Indicate the number of available seats
- Publish the offer publicly to receive requests
ℹ️ You can also share privately 🔐: invite only your friends and family.
2) Invite your fellow subscribers
- Log in to your MacPaw account
- Open the CleanMyMac section, then Manage Devices.
- Click on Share Slot
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
- Click Send Invitation
📌 If Share Slot is not available: you must first free up space by removing a device or deleting a user from the plan.
Co-subscriber: join a CleanMyMac X offer
- On Spliiit, search for CleanMyMac X (🔎) on the marketplace.
- Join an offer and make the payment
- Send the owner an invitation email
- Open the MacPaw invitation email and accept
- Install CleanMyMac X on your Mac, then log in/activate with your access 😌
✅ It works if...
- The owner has invited you via Share Slot
- You accept the invitation with the correct email address.
- There is one spot left in the offer (2 or 5 devices).
❌ It doesn't work if...
- The guest email is incorrect.
- The owner needs to replace an old appliance without removing it.
🛠️ If it's stuck, try...
- Ask the owner to remove a device, then invite you again.
- Check Spam/Promotions
- If you change Macs: the transfer involves deactivating/activating on a new Mac.
