How to share your Apple TV+ subscription on Spliiit?

Apple TV+ is Apple's streaming service: it offers Apple Originals (series, movies, documentaries), with the option to download for offline viewing and premium video quality (up to 4K HDR and with Dolby Atmos depending on content and device).

Apple TV+ has a sharing mode designed for multiple people: Apple Family Sharing. Passwords are not shared; the owner invites members, and everyone keeps their own Apple account.

Owner: suggest sharing Apple TV+ on Spliiit

1) Set up your Apple account (Family Sharing)

1. Ensure that you have Apple TV+ active and are able to manage a Family Sharing group.

2) Post the offer on Spliiit

1. On Spliiit, go to "Propose."
2. Choose Apple TV+
3. Select Family
4. Indicate the number of available seats (up to 5 seats to share)
5. Publish the offer publicly to receive requests

ℹ️ You can also share privately 🔐: you only invite close friends and family.

3) Invite your co-subscribers (official Apple method)

Apple says you can send an invitation via Messages or email.

On iPhone/iPad

1. Open Settings
2. Tap Family
3. Tap Add Member
4. Tap Invite people
5. Send the invitation via Messages or email

On Mac

1. Apple menu → System Preferences
2. Click on Family
3. Click Add Member and follow the steps.

Check/resend an invitation

• iPhone/iPad: Settings → Family → person's name → Resend invitation
• Mac: System Preferences → Family → person's name → Resend invitation

Co-subscriber: join an Apple TV+ offer

1. On Spliiit, search for Apple TV+ (🔎) on the marketplace.
2. Join an offer and make the payment
3. Send the owner the Apple email (Apple ID) to invite
4. Accept the invitation received by text message or email

If you haven't received the invitation, Apple says you can also accept it from the device:

• iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Invitations
• Mac: System Preferences → Family, then follow the instructions.

Once accepted: you can enjoy Apple TV+ ✅

ℹ️ If no offers are available:

• Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
• or create your offer as a homeowner

✅ It works if...

• The owner has invited you with the correct Apple ID.
• You can accept the invitation from the prompt (SMS/email) or from Settings → Invitations.
• You are not already a member of another Family Sharing group.

❌ It doesn't work if...

• Your Apple ID is already in another group (you can only be in one).
• Have you changed family groups recently (limited to once per year)?
• The invitation is pending/not accepted

1. Ask the owner to resend the invitation (Settings → Family → Resend)
2. Verify that you are using the correct Apple ID on the device.
3. Restart your iPhone/iPad/Mac and try accepting again.
