How do I share my Apple One subscription?

Apple One can be shared on Spliiit invitation, using Apple Family Sharing: each co-subscriber uses their own Apple account (Apple ID) and gains access to the services included in the bundle. No sharing of login credentials is required.

⚠️ Important: Before adding co-subscribers, make sure that Purchase Sharing is turned off if you don’t want App Store purchases to be charged to Owner.

⚠️ Important: You can only be a member of one family at a time, and you can only change your family group once a year.

✅ Choose the right plan: Family 200 GB or Premium 2 TB (up to 6 users).
✅ Each family member must have an active Apple ID (Apple account).

Owner Set up an Apple One share on Spliiit

Step 1 — Set up Family Sharing (on the Apple side)

Before inviting someone, your family member must provide you withthe email address associated with their Apple ID. If they don’t have one, they’ll need to create one.

From iPhone/iPad:

1. Settings → your name → Family (or “Family Sharing”)
2. Add a member
3. Invite via email (or Messages, depending on the available option)
4. Enter the co-subscriber's Apple ID email address and send the invitation

From a Mac:

1.  → System Settings
2. Your name → Last name
3. Add a member (often “+”)
4. Enter the Apple ID email address and send the invitation

⚠️ Be sure to check:

• that subscriptions are properly shared in the Family settings
• Note that " Share Purchases " is turned off if you don't want to share purchases

Step 2 — Post the offer on Spliiit

1. On Spliiit, go to Suggest
2. Choose Apple One
3. Select the plan (200 GB Family or 2 TB Premium) + the number of available seats
4. Publish as public sharing to receive requests

Co-subscriber: How to join an Apple One plan

1. On Spliiit, open the marketplace (🔎) and search for Apple One
2. Join an offer and make the payment
3. Provide the Owner with your Apple ID email address
4. Accept the Family Sharing invitation you received via text message or email
5. Once accepted, you’ll regain access to the Apple One services included in the bundle (depending on your plan)

ℹ️ If no offers are available:

• Activate the alert to be notified as soon as a spot becomes available.
• or create your offer as Owner

🔒 Security & best practices (to be applied from the outset)

• No login credentials to share: everything is by invitation only, and everyone keeps their own Apple ID
• Shared purchases: Turn this off if you don't want to share purchases
• iCloud Storage: 200 GB / 2 TB = shared storage. If there are multiple users, keep an eye on your storage space (it fills up fast!)
• Apple policy: one family at a time + limited to one change per year
• If a service doesn't activate: make sure the invitation has been accepted, then restart the relevant app (Music/TV/Arcade/Fitness) or sign in to your Apple ID again
